Pastor

David Zemke was born and raised in the small town of Post Falls, located in north Idaho just outside of beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene. He grew up with two sister and two brothers. Much of his family now lives in Spokane, Washington and both he and Stasia call Spokane home.

David attended Whitworth University in Spokane, WA where he majored in Philosophy, with a special interest in ethics, and minored in religion. While at Whitworth he volunteered at the on-campus church in the youth program. During the first two summers, David worked at Camp Lutherhaven, located on Lake Couer d'Alene where he met his future wife, Stasia. David worked the last two years of school for the Whitworth Security department.

After graduating from Whitworth in 2003, David married Stasia and moved to Portland while she finished her degree at Concordia. While Stasia finished at Concordia, David worked as a security officer for the Target Corporation. After Stasia finished in 2005, he was accepted to Concordia Seminary. David vicared in Bay City, Michigan at Faith Lutheran Church and School where he enjoyed preaching and hospital visits.

During their last year at the seminary, David and Stasia welcomed Myles Zemke, born February 2009. David enjoys cooking, music, and home renovation as hobbies. Stasia enjoys walking, crocheting, and reading. Myles enjoys giggling and spending time with his family.

Music

Allison (Ally) DeWitz Zimmerman heads up the music at Immanuel. She is an accomplished organist and accompanies the choir as well as ensuring our worship is filled with music. If you have an instrument you would like to play at a service, let her know and she'll arrange it.

Secretary

Ahnyah Krummenacker is our church secretary. Ahnyah keeps everything running smoothly around the office and is an asset to our church.
